March 28, 2005 - As everyone is probably aware of by now, the Rockets are taking a break right now to focus on other projects. We may still have an occasional show pop up. We also will have a feature section during the Honky Tonk Experience shows as well. Make sure you get your request in!!! We are continuing to write material for a future CD. June 10, 2004 - The Rockets have added a new member! Keyboardist extraordinaire, Charlie Kilpatrick. Charlie will be performing with the Rockets as his schedule permits (which we hope is a lot!). Come on out and welcome Charlie aboard!!

May 1, 2004 - OK, we are back now. Starting to get geared up for shows this summer. Check the tour page. Writing and recording has been delayed slightly since the Launch Pad Studio is just getting completed. We will keep you posted.

We are going to be featuring Charlie Kilpatrick on keyboards at several shows this year. Come on out and see what Charlie will be bringing to the party! The Rockets will be exploring areas of our musical universe that we haven't been to yet!

December 16, 2003 - Well, first off, we have decided to take a little vacation. After some time off we are going to start working up some new material, writing more songs and start doing some planning for a new disc. Right now, it looks like our next show will not be until May. Check back for actual dates soon. 

In the meantime, Mike and Mark will be occasionally performing with Brad Spivey's Honky Tonk Experience. This is a side project for them that features some of Richmond's finest musicians playing classic country music, the way it was meant to be played. September 11, 2003 - Just a few new updates for you. The guys just finished mixing down La Fiesta for the Plan 9 charity disc. More on that project as we find out information. We may post a MP3 soon for you. Thanks to Eric and Adam from the Project Studio!

June 26, 2003 - The July 4th show is NOT at Dorey Park. It is now at Meadow Bridge Farm at 3400 Mountain Rd. in Glen Allen. We think it is also known as Crump Park. SEE YOU THERE! 

The Rockets will be appearing at the Va. State Fair this year. Our tentative scheduled date will be on Friday, October 3. Right now the set times are 1:00, 3:30 and 6:30. Keep checking back for any updates.

June 4, 2003 - OK, so it's been awhile since the last update. A few new things going on, so here goes!!

First the Rockets are recording a tune for a Plan 9 Benefit disc. Stay tuned for details.

Looks like there will be a return to northern Virginia in August. The Bop N Bowl. Details are still being worked out but it looks like it will happen on August 16. Thanks to Brian and the boys with 52 Pickup!

We will return the favor to 52 Pickup by having them play with us at Poes on August 23. Come on out and hear a true blue rockabilly band. They even have one of those funny looking basses...

Lastly, we have to introduce you to Brad Spivey and the Honky Tonk Experience. Brad is a fine country singer and has enlisted the Rockets help for a few area appearances. Watch for us at Poes soon. You never know who will be backing him up. Every show will be an "experience".
